I Just Wanna Smash Your Face In With A Sledgehammer

Ah, love.

It’s a rare joy when you watch an Adam Sandler movie that doesn’t make you want to tear off your scrotum and throw it out of the window, but I really shouldn’t have been surprised considering that Paul Thomas Anderson directed Punch-Drunk Love. It’s got that kind of ‘uneasy romance’ vibe PTA did so well in Magnolia (but thankfully not in There Will Be Blood).

So yeah, that’s what I did today.

I also read an interesting interview with Jon Spaihts, co-writer of Prometheus, on his experiences with the movie and what would have been different in his take. It’s well worth a read.

Oh, and my introductory Strange Bedfellows is available for your reading pleasure. Take a look at it why not?
