Class Act

I’m listening to classical music as I write this. I’m not sure what it is or why exactly, but I think I read in about a dozen books and saw in a few hundred movies that it’s supposed to help you concentrate. That and some of it is a kind of soaring terrifying in that way only music without lyrics can be.

My tendency to leave things until the absolute last moment has predictably landed me in hot water once again, as I now have to reorganise my to-do list in order of ‘harshest punishment for failure’, and it’s put me in something of a sour mood. As a result, my recent Tweets have been somewhat sensationalist and downright strange for the sake of strange in some cases, and I fear that I may have taken the first steps toward the end of a friendship that’s always been something of a rivalry anyway.

But then – as ever – it could just be me.
